Team Medical Director- Urgent Care

TEAM MEDICAL DIRECTOR Are you willing to take on clinical leadership within a Medical Team?
- Do you have experience in a community health setting?

- Are you able to meet with practice managers and providers to improve health outcomes and positive patient satisfaction?
- Do you have the skills to organize the daily activities of the team, department flow and appropriate staff and resource utilization?
- Provide medical leadership for the Medical Team. Take responsibility, collaborating with other senior managers, physicians, and nursing leaders for establishing and meeting team productivity goals.
- Participates in orientation and training of new providers.
- Supervise providers on the team.
- Participate in developing goals and priorities, collaborating with other members of the leadership team, senior managers and other physician and nursing leaders.
- Participate in writing policies/procedures relevant to the Medical Team, as needed.
- Medical, Dental and Vision coverage effective on the first day of employment.
- Ability to enroll in retirement plan, also with employer match options.
- Qualify for the National Health Loan Forgiveness Repayment program.
- Flexible shifts available.
- Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Board Certified, with Massachusetts license.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Experience in medical administration, particularly evaluation and supervision of licensed medical providers and other clinical staff preferred.
- Must have demonstrated past leadership ability.
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Utilization Review, Continuous Quality Improvement preferred.
- Experience with and commitment to working with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).
