License Requirement:

Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing requirements)

Certification Requirement:

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Required within 30 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required within 30 days of employment
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required within 30 days of employment
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required within 90 days of employment
STABLE Required within 60 months of employment

Min Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school

Must Haves:

Pediatric experience required
Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience in PICU, Pediatrics, or Children's Services
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Supervisor, or Managerial role

Years of Experience: 3+ years in acute care pediatric settings, 1+ year in leadership roles

Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center

Specialty (Department/Unit Experience) Required: Pediatrics, PICU, NICU

Charting System: Not specified

PICU: 6 beds
NICU: 20 beds
Total Beds: 12 (Children's Services)
Compensation: $42.36 - $62.50 per hour (based on experience)
