License Requirement:
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing requirements)
Certification Requirement:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Required within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required within 30 days of employment
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required within 30 days of employment
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required within 90 days of employment
- STABLE Required within 60 months of employment
Min Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school
Must Haves:
- Pediatric experience required
- Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience in PICU, Pediatrics, or Children's Services
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Supervisor, or Managerial role
Years of Experience: 3+ years in acute care pediatric settings, 1+ year in leadership roles
Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
Specialty (Department/Unit Experience) Required: Pediatrics, PICU, NICU
Charting System: Not specified
