The role is located in Foster City, California, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Liver. The Liver Legal Business Partner is responsible for providing legal support in relation to the development and commercialization of Gilead’s Liver portfolio and other investigational assets. Job ResponsibilitiesThe primary clients for this role include personnel in Commercial, Medical, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Finance, and Regulatory. The Legal Business Partner team, where this attorney will sit, works closely with colleagues in Compliance, Privacy, US Pricing & Access, Competition Law, Regulatory, and other groups to ensure the compliant commercialization of our product.The Legal Business partner will provide legal input on US Commercial strategies and tactics related to promotional and educational activities, engagements with healthcare providers, patients, patient organizations, and other entities, and other applications of healthcare and commercial law and regulatory compliance in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.The Legal Business Partner will provide legal training to field and home office Gilead personnel and external consultants, including large group public speaking.This position requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset, and a high degree of collaboration with internal clients and colleagues.
