Phlebotomist

We are hiring a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws and specimen collection while ensuring accurate handling, processing, and patient care in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws using venipuncture (straight & butterfly needles)
• Collect, label, and process specimens (blood, urine, etc.)
• Centrifuge, store, and prepare samples for transport
• Verify test orders and ensure accurate documentation
• Update patient information and maintain records
• Explain procedures clearly to patients
• Follow safety, hygiene, and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1+ year of phlebotomy experience
• Strong skills in blood draw, venipuncture, and specimen collection
• Experience working with patients of all age groups
• Good communication and customer service skills
• High School Diploma required

⭐ Preferred:

• Experience with specimen processing
• Exposure to pediatric and geriatric patients
• Knowledge of lab safety and compliance standards

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Villa Rica, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
