Work Scope:

A. Shoveling of ash and trash buildup from under and around conveyor systems and hoppers. Transport with a wheelbarrow
B. General removal of debris throughout the plant.
C. Cleaning and maintenance inside boilers and hoppers. (Confined Space with full-face respirator with full-face respirator)
D. Material handling of plant material and equipment including staging, pipes, air hoses, etc.
E. Painting
F. Operating transport equipment (Bobcat, forklift, man lift)
G. Blow-down areas.

General Plant Requirements

1.must receive site safety orientation training before commencing work.
2. must be able to stand for long periods of time
3. must be able to use job tools as provided (shovels, racks, hoes, wheelbarrows, cutting tools, grinders and vacuum systems)
4. PPE must be worn.
5. Must be physically able to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
6. attend morning planning meetings.
7. will have their own labeled lockout locks.
8. May need to access roof tops and Confined Space with full-face respirators, as well as hot/dusty environments
9. must be trained in the hazards in working around conveyors, heavy equipment, and in a hot and dusty environment.

Medical Clearance
1.Initial OSHA Respirator Exam & review
2. Initial Blood, Lead and ZZP test.
3.Medical clearance exam
4. Audiogram

Protective Equipment Required:
1.Steel toe shoes
2. Safety Glasses
3. Hard Hat
4.Hearing protection
5.Fall protection
6.Full & half face respirators
7.Long sleeve shirt and long pants
8. Work gloves

Training:
1.Respiratory procedures.
2.PPE use
3. Confined space
4.Lock out/tag out
5. Fall Protection
6.Lead and hazard recognition
7.Bobcat and fork truck operation
