Fast forward to today, Steer has launched a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing suite, complete with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, declined/recommended services, and many other features. In August 2024 Steer acquired AutoOps - the leader in modern, intelligent, and fully integrated scheduling software for auto repair shops. AutoOps allows customers to smoothly schedule through a shop's website and Google Business Profile. About the Role We’re looking for a

Sales Development Representative

to help build and scale our outbound motion at Steer. This role is focused on uncovering lucrative new business opportunities, facilitating product demos, and guiding customers through a streamlined sales process. This is not a passive, inbound role. You will be expected to create opportunities from scratch, navigate organizations, and develop messaging that resonates with small business owners and operators in blue-collar industries. We are looking for someone who is no stranger to overcoming obstacles and strives to exceed expectations. This is a hybrid role that begins with a three-month onsite ramp-up period at our Waltham, MA office. Once performance metrics are met, you will become eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Compensation:

Conduct a high volume of calls and outreach to identify and engage decision-makers and economic buyers. Master the Product:

Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS product and its features to effectively communicate value during online product demos. Consultative Selling:

Employ a consultative approach to understand prospects' needs and tailor presentations to their specific pain points. Pipeline Management:

Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM to ensure accurate forecasting. Partner for Success:

Qualify opportunities and collaborate closely with the broader sales team on strategy and deal progression. You Have Must Have: 1+ years of sales experience
