Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop warehouse team members.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage locations.
• Ensure inventory transactions and shipments are completed accurately.
• Monitor employee productivity and report warehouse performance metrics.
• Determine staffing levels and assign daily workloads.
• Communicate job expectations and provide ongoing performance coaching.
• Work directly with customers to resolve questions and operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and operational reports.
• Analyze warehouse performance and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, or in a warehouse leadership role.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and team-building abilities.
• Experience managing inventory, cycle counts, auditing, forecasting, and inventory planning.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of logistics, shipping procedures, freight carriers, and distribution operations.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and warehouse compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong project management and time management skills.
• Business math skills and the ability to work with product numbers and alphanumeric codes.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
