Physical Security Specialist\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global EV battery manufacturing company that\nmanufactures HVAC and they're looking for a Physical Security Specialist.\n\n \n\nSummary\n\nThe physical Security Senior Specialist is responsible for implementing the\nphysical security and administrative security aspects of the information\nSecurity Management System.\n\nThis position need to develop and enforce physical security policies, conduct\nregular security assessments, respond to security incidents to ensure in\nmaintaining a secure environment, safeguarding facilities, assets, and\npersonnel.\n\nThis role requires strong English language communication with other employees,\nboth in written and verbal form. As there are security needs to be addressed for\nthe entire site including office, manufacturing, and construction environments,\nthis position will be requires to perform the work in all these environment.\n\n \n\nKey Ares of Responsibility\n\nSecurity Policies, Procedures, and Protocols Development\n\n * Maintain and develop security policies, guidelines, and procedures\n * Train employees in security best practices and procedures\n * Create regular publications to promote security awareness\n\nSecurity Assessment\n\n * Conduct security assessments and surveys to identify vulnerability, threats,\n risks and recommended improvements.\n * Respond to external and internal security audits\n\nPhysical Security System Management and Security Activities\n\n * Manage all aspects of the on-site physical security contracts including\n Guard, Security Maintenance\n * Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the organization's premises,\n including buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, to detect\n and deter security breaches, suspicious activities, and safety hazards\n * Manage security guards, contractors and third-party vendors providing\n physical security services, ensuring adherence to security standards,\n protocols, and performance expectations\n\nSecurity Incident Response\n\n * Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, including\n disturbances, medical emergencies, fires, and evacuations, and take\n appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure safety of occupants\n * Collaborate with law enforcements, emergency responders, and other security\n professionals to coordinate responses to security threats, incidents, and\n emergencies, and provide assistance as needed\n * Conduct investigations into security incidents, thefts, property damage, and\n policy violations, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and\n documenting findings for further review and action\n * Complete detailed reports, logs, and incidents documentations on security\n activities, observations, and incidents, and maintain accurate records for\n review and analysis\n\nRequirements\n\n * Associate or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or\n related field experiences\n * 7+ years of relevant experiences\n * 2+ years of managing physical security systems\n * 1+ years of experience managing contract security guards (or lead a team of\n guards experiences)\n * Knowledge of physical security systems including technical equipment (ACS,\n cameras, sensors, etc.)\n * Security-based certifications is recommended (i.e. CPP, PSP, CISSP)\n * Ability to write policies, guidelines and procedures at a professional level\n * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)\n\n \n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nSecurity clearance: Confidential (Preferred)\n\nAbility to Commute: Kingston, GA
