As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Medical-Surgical unit, your insights and contributions to patient care are highly valued. Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, you will be tasked with providing exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and the standards of practice specific to your state and specialty. Working closely with healthcare providers and the care team, you will deliver tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks like "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, reflecting the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a superior patient experience and positive clinical results.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient's therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions.
• Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and addressing them proactively.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology.

Qualifications Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within six months of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or a diploma in Nursing.
