Offshore HSE Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities Visit vessels in the Gulf of Mexico during port calls, mobilizations, and demobilizations. Undergo internal training according to the Rosehill Resources training and competence matrix, including Management System Training, Unisea, TM Master, OCS, and the Rosehill Resources Workbook. Provide training and advice on Rosehill Resources Assessment and Permit to Work procedures, including the use of the Permit to Work system. Ensure annual control and re‑certification of safety equipment in line with the Rosehill Resources working and rescue at height standards (fall safety equipment). Carry out Permit to Work audits during onboard visits. Report all vessel visit reports in Unisea and forward them to the HSEQ Manager and the VP of Subsea. Provide course certificates to the department after training sessions. Review vessel Safety Observation Cards, JSA and TBT. Inspect WAH and Fall Rescue Equipment, manage PPE inventory, and be hands‑on with practical performance. Focus on lifting operations and dropped objects, promote safety reporting, and liaise with Contractor HSE personnel to implement Rosehill Resources and Project HSEQ procedures as required. Participate in or lead incident investigations, conduct walkabouts/inspections/audits, and close out findings as required. Ensure all HSE requirements governed in the IMS are effectively implemented on board the vessel, including HSE meetings, hygiene inspections, walkthroughs, and drills. Execute training, follow‑up campaigns, and support the onshore HSEQ department as needed. Assist Project Managers/Offshore Managers and HSEQ in preparing and revising vessel Risk Assessments and contribute to internal audits, training sessions, and procedure revisions. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience working on offshore support or construction vessels. Training/courses as defined in the company competence matrix (the training program can compensate for lack of experience).
