You will be supported by an experienced regional team and backed by a company culture that empowers leaders to make a lasting impact.Lead the Opening and OperationsSuccessfully oversee the pre-opening and opening of Homewood Suites Prattville, ensuring a smooth launch and exceptional guest experience from day one.Provide strategic leadership across all hotel departments to maximize operational performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement.Foster a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and operational procedures.Drive Financial PerformanceDevelop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.Partner with regional operations and accounting teams to analyze monthly financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Manage hotel budgets, forecasting, labor costs, payroll, and expense controls.Optimize revenue across all available channels to achieve and exceed financial goals.Build and Develop a Winning TeamRecruit, hire, train, and retain top talent through innovative and effective staffing strategies.Create an engaging workplace culture that inspires associates to perform at their best.Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.Lead by example and foster an environment built on respect, teamwork, and recognition.Represent the Hotel and BrandServe as a visible leader within the hotel and the Prattville community.Develop relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community partners.Participate in community events, volunteer activities, and networking opportunities that enhance the hotel's presence and reputation.Champion the Homewood Suites and Peachtree Group brand while delivering exceptional guest experiences.Operational LeadershipParticipate in weekly revenue strategy meetings with the regional revenue management team.Ensure timely and accurate reporting for company, brand, and ownership requirements.Oversee hotel accounting functions, including payroll administration and financial controls.Utilize hotel management systems and reporting platforms to drive operational excellence.QualificationsCurrent or previous Hotel General Manager experience preferred.Hotel pre-opening experience.Alternatively, 3+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience in operations, rooms, sales, or related disciplines.Experience with major hospitality brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or similar.Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and profit and loss statements.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively resolve guest and associate concerns while maintaining professionalism.Comfortable learning and utilizing technology and hotel operating systems.Hospitality certifications such as CHA, CHRM, or CHSP are a plus.Preferred Systems ExperiencePEP or OnQProfitSwordHotel EffectivenessM3 AccountingHotel PMS platformsUKG or UltiProMicrosoft Office SuiteBenefits:Peachtree Group provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
