Premium Billing Representative II
Bishop & Company is seeking a Premium Billing Representative II for a healthcare-related organization in Honolulu, HI.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with customer service, billing, or accounting experience who thrives in a collaborative office environment and enjoys problem solving, account reconciliation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Position Details

• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Pay: $22.70 per hour
• Location: Honolulu, HI 96813
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Work Environment: Hybrid opportunity available upon manager approval

Key Responsibilities

• Process premium billing transactions, including payments, adjustments, and account updates.
• Research, analyze, and resolve billing discrepancies and account variances.
• Assist with monthly invoice preparation and billing issue resolution.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve account-related issues and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain detailed documentation within billing systems according to established procedures.
• Support department operations and workflow continuity through collaboration and teamwork.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent customer service and/or billing experience.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to use a 10-key by touch.
• Experience working with computerized accounting systems.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, including percentages, ratios, and proportions.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technologies.

Preferred:

• Associate degree.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Technical Skills
Experience with the following systems is a plus:

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Microsoft Teams
• Salesforce
• Sage
• QNXT
• Other billing and customer account management systems

Physical & Work Environment

• Office environment with moderate noise levels.
• Frequent use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
• Position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement upon approval.
