Salary Range: $40,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product quality inspections according to specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues.
• Calibrate and maintain quality control measuring equipment.
• Perform first article inspections and provide feedback on production samples.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with metrology equipment beyond basic hand tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, profilometers).
• ASQ certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Technician, Certified Quality Inspector).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to perform basic statistical analysis of quality data.
