Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting, ensuring safety and patient comfort. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care and adhere to facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient conditions and record responses to interventions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
  
  
• 
  Support patient education and discharge planning needs.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current certifications and licenses as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid TN state license or compact multi-state license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI certifications (or MAB equivalent).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate comfort working with forensic and inpatient populations.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible to float to other MS/Tele units as needed.
  
  
• 
  Willing to work night shifts (3x12 hours).
