Job Description

VIP staffing is Immediately hiring a Project Drafter for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM

This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Monday- Thursday 8am- 6:30pm schedule

Pay for this position is $24.00 per hour

As a Project Drafter you will:

Make 2D and 3D drawings accurately
Revise and make installation sheets to add to company website content.
Complete submittals as requested
Edit and modify drawings, archiving and issuing revised drawings.
Gain understanding of work orders and submittal drawings as related to specific jobs.

Project Drafter Candidates must mee the following requirements for consideration:

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of related experience required, additional education and/or certification from a technical school is a plus
In depth experience of MS Word, Excel and Data entry program is a must
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid works programs or equivalent required.
Advanced knowledge of drafting processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of drawings.
Strong Critical Thinking Skills
Oral Comprehension skills
Strong Computer skills.
