SEC Reporting Analyst

Accounting AnalystAt Regions, the Accounting Analyst prepares accurate and timely financial reporting that may include, but not limited to, special requests, producing monthly and quarterly reporting, and adding value through continued process improvement.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssists in preparation detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of managementContributes to process improvements and makes recommendations on occasionResearches and responds to technical accounting inquiries from our business partnersAnalyzes and resolves problems using prescribed guidelines or policiesCompletes ad-hoc reporting or other special projects as they ariseThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a directly related fieldPreferencesMaster of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Master's degree in FinanceExperience within a financial services industryCertified Public Accountant Licensure (CPA)Skills and CompetenciesAbility to research, analyze data, and drive appropriate solutionsAbility to work under direct guidanceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationThis position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week.
