Store Manager Responsibilities and Duties The following are the Responsibilities and Duties of the hourly/salary Store Manager role. Please review carefully and determine whether these are criteria you will be able to meet. If you have any concerns about these expectations, please let us know and we will discuss them immediately. You are expected to: 1. Work a minimum of 35 hours per week or 70 hours per pay period. 2. Cover a minimum of 3 shifts per month when employee call-offs occur. 3. Be available to work a rotating weekly schedule if team availability permits it. 4. Be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when needed 5. Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, and labor costs. 6. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. 7. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. 8. Conduct product quality checks by taste testing and inspecting food to ensure the quality of food is consistent and up to standards 9. Maintain a professional restaurant image such as proper staff presentation and appearance standards. 10.Assist in managing food and beverage costs, including ordering from vendors and Mad Yolks warehouse. Collaborate with the Leadership (upper management) team and BOH for efficient provisioning and purchasing of goods. 11. Oversee portion control of service line operations. 12. Ensure a positive guest experience in all areas. At the discretion of the General 13. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of accidents. 14.Assist and ensure on completing weekly scheduling at least seven days prior to the next publishing schedule and ensure the team’s availabilities are up to date. 15.Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural changes. 16. Interview hourly employees. Direct hiring, overseeing employee training, and, when necessary, termination of employees with the guidance of the General Manager. 17.Submit Weekly Report that states all the activity on site, employee progress, reviews, to-do list, improvements, and a mock health inspection. All deliverables must be delivered no later than 10PM on Tuesdays. Pay: $23-27/hr - Negotiable depending on experience.
