Project Manager

Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in conformance with design documents and contract requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact with clients/owners, field crews, and subcontractors to coordinate execution and resolve issues. Establish project setup in accordance with company standards, including safety plans, scheduling, cost codes, document control, resource planning, and billing processes. Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability reporting; implement corrective actions to maintain financial performance. Prepare construction proposals, estimates, and material take offs; manage and price change orders arising from design changes, RFIs, and client requests. Monitor project performance and communicate status, expectations, and milestones to clients and project teams through written correspondence and group presentations. Provide strong leadership to field personnel while ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and contractual obligations. Skills Project management, Construction, Engineering Must Have Qualifications 5+ years of experience within construction project management (commercial or industrial) Clear, effective communicator with strong listening and presentation abilities Proven problem solver with sound judgment and decisive decision making skills Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Nice to Have Previous utility construction PM experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, related Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
