DevOps Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, application hosting environments, and deployment automation processes. The ideal candidate will partner with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery, platform stability, and operational excellence. This position involves providing support for production and non-production environments, incident resolution, release coordination, vulnerability remediation, and driving continuous process improvements through automation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS), including identifying and remediating open-source vulnerabilities
• Track, report, and develop remediation plans for End-of-Life (EOL) technologies across application portfolios
• Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams for technology refreshes
• Analyze security findings, prioritize remediation, and partner with development teams to resolve vulnerabilities
• Track remediation SLAs and compliance metrics, producing executive and technical reporting
• Support audit and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Strong Linux background and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Git, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with web servers, application support, and production operations
• Experience with CMS platforms such as AEM or TeamSite
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation, release management, and build automation
• Proficiency in environment management (DEV/SIT/PROD) and deployment troubleshooting
• Experience with CDN technologies (Akamai)
• Skills in application monitoring, logging, incident, and production support
• Core Java skills

Desired skills:

• Experience supporting content publishing workflows, content deployments, code promotions, and production release activities
• Understanding of CMS architecture, author/publisher environments, dispatcher configurations, caching, and content replication processes
• Ability to troubleshoot content delivery, publishing failures, deployment issues, and environment-related problems across CMS platforms

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
