The Quality Assurance Co-op/Intern will provide technical support to the Quality Assurance function on issues affecting manufacturing processes. This role will support quality improvement initiatives, corrective action efforts, and continuous process optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support capability studies on critical manufacturing processes.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts.
• Monitor processes; collect, verify, evaluate, and analyze data.
• Support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and Nonconformance (NC) initiatives.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform analytical and statistical analysis to support process optimization and daily operations.
• Conduct first article inspections and review visual aids.
• Complete defect analysis reporting.
• Perform Material Review Board (MRB) activities on sustained products.
• Participate in Corrective Action Committee (CAC) meetings and continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct line audits and product audits.
• Support Quality Engineering initiatives, including APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
• Follow all company safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Candidates should have knowledge of:

• Gaging techniques
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Core Quality Tools
• ISO 13485 standards
• FDA 21 CFR 820 quality requirements

Preferred majors include:

• Biomedical Engineering
• Systems Engineering
• Materials Engineering

Experience levels include:

• Beginner: Limited or no previous work experience; first co-op experience
• Intermediate: Some related work, internship, or volunteer experience; second co-op experience
• Advanced: Previous related work experience; final co-op experience
