Business Development Representative

We are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to grow and maintain a strong B2B book of business within the HVAC industry. This role focuses on prospecting, building long-term partnerships, and driving revenue through frequent face-to-face meetings and phone-based relationship building. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of sales experience, is highly personable, and excels at cultivating trust with contractors, distributors, and other HVAC stakeholders. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and qualify new B2B opportunities to build and expand a sustainable book of business in the HVAC market. Conduct regular in-person meetings, site visits, and phone calls to develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and negotiate pricing and terms to close new business and renewals. Maintain accurate pipelines, activity records, and account plans in CRM tools to forecast and track performance against sales targets. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, customer support) to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction. Qualifications 1–3 years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in HVAC, building services, or a related technical field. Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly, communicate clearly, and manage long-term customer relationships in person and over the phone. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, including prospecting and closing new accounts. Comfortable working independently in the field, managing a territory, and prioritizing visits, calls, and follow-ups.
