Punch Press Set-Up Operator , Chicago, IL
Currently looking for a Punch Press Set-Up Operator to fill a first shift direct hire opening with a global company in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities of the Punch Press Set-Up Operator
- Be responsible to set-up punch presses for metal forming applications including Komatsu and Federal brands up to 225 ton.
- A background with Havir, L & J, Azimuth, US Baird, Dennison, Neff, Aida, Stamtec and Verson is a plus.
- Learn and/or upgrade your skills pertaining to servo feeds and programming.
- Offer input regarding press cycle time reduction strategies.
- This is a first shift position.
Requirements of the Punch Press Set-Up Operator
- High School Diploma
- At least entry level punch press set-up experience is preferred.
Compensation of the Punch Press Set-up Operator
The targeted hourly base salary for this first shift position ranges from $22.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on experience.
Compensation:
$68,640 per year
