Be thoroughly familiar with beverage and wine. Be familiar with and follow all standard of beverage recipes and adhere to the established pour policy without deviations. Operate within full compliance of state liquor laws and regulations. Be thoroughly familiar with DWI prevention procedures and techniques. All liquor, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages must be prechecked prior to serving when not a hosted function and all charges going to the master account. Follow established requisitioning procedures for the banquet bar set up. Bar areas are to be properly secured and locked at the end of the shift. Set up banquet bars utilizing banquet beverage requisition for assigned function per BEO Prepare fruit (garnish) tray and make sure the bar has all mixers and equipment such as pourers, strainer, shaker, etc. to prepare drinks properly. At the end of the function return stock counts for all beverages Clean banquet bar and equipment at the end of the function before returning them to the storage area. Never leave the bar unattended and always maintain a professional posture. The starting pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hour plus tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Qualifications One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred. Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine. Experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred. Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol. Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs. Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
