Description

The Catholic Chancery in Jefferson City MO is seeking a dependable service-oriented IT Support Coordinator to serve as the Dioceses internal point of contact for technology support. This position ensures that chancery staff priests and other diocesan employees receive prompt competent and courteousassistance with their technology and serves as the diocesesinterface to the contracted IT services provider for support requests and configuration work.

This role is defined by ownershipof the end-user experience. The Coordinator resolves what can be resolved directly routes what needs the providers technical depth and stays with an issue until the person who reported is genuinely working again. The Coordinator plays a hands-on role in technology transitions--including the planned migration to Microsoft 365--helping staff prepare for change and supporting them through it.

This position also maintains an accurate inventory of computers monitors mobile devices and software licenses.

Education

-Bachelors degree preferred. Additional certifications are desirable.

-A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on technical support is required.
