Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years in Surgical Intensive Care Unit License: Registered Nurse License & Registration Certifications: Basic Life Support required, Critical Care Registered Nurse preferred Must-Have: - Passion for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or Associate Degree with enrollment in an accredited BSN program Description: Our Surgical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for highly acute and critical patients coming immediately from surgery. They partner with an interdisciplinary team, including attending physicians, registered nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocating for and building meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education is essential.
