Adult Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Outpatient Rehab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule may consist of either a 4 or 5-day workweek, with available shifts as follows:

• Monday/Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday/Thursday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• OR
• Monday/Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Adult Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide outpatient rehab services. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating adult neurological speech diagnoses, dysphagia, voice disorders, and cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.
• Conduct assessments and provide training on adaptive and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment goals and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult SLP outpatient rehab.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Certification in Manual Therapy and Hand Therapy is advantageous.
