Opportunity Details - Senior Medical Director, Heart & Vascular# Senior Medical Director, Heart & VascularAugusta Medical Group is seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve as **Senior Medical Director for Heart & Vascular Services**. This role provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across the cardiovascular service line while maintaining an active clinical practice.The ideal candidate will be a board-certified cardiologist (any subspecialty considered) with demonstrated leadership experience and a passion for advancing quality, innovation, and team-based care.## Key Responsibilities* Lead strategic growth, workforce planning, and service line development* Ensure clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and innovation* Drive quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives* Partner with executive leadership on financial stewardship and operational efficiency* Support provider engagement, mentoring, recruitment, and retention* Represent the organization within the broader medical community## Specialties Under OversightGeneral Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Testing, and Vascular Surgery.## Qualifications* MD or DO from an accredited medical school* Board certification in a cardiovascular specialty* Active medical license in good standing* Prior leadership experience required* MBA, MHA, or advanced administrative degree preferredThis is an exceptional opportunity for a physician leader who is motivated to shape the future of cardiovascular care within a growing, collaborative health system. #J-18808-Ljbffr
