About the Role
As a Vertical CNC Machinist, you will play a key role in building high-precision aerospace components. Your work directly powers the manufacturing and assembly of aerospace latches trusted by our global customers. If you take pride in producing top-tier, precision-engineered parts, this is the right place for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3- to 4-axis Vertical Milling Machines in a fast-paced production environment, turning blueprints, dimensional sheets, and work orders into finished parts.
- Inspect your own parts during production runs to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Adjust tooling and align CNC programs to hit exact tolerances.
- Keep your workspace and equipment running smoothly through daily lubrications, degreasing, and equipment checks.
- Review daily dispatch schedules to prioritize and manage assigned jobs efficiently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands-on machine shop experience (or an equivalent combination of trade school education and practical experience).
- Skills: Strong blueprint reading skills, familiarity with CNC setup/operation (3 & 4 axis), and precision measuring tools.
