CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist (Direct hire job) Irvine-based manufacturer offers an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled applicant. This is a full-time, hands-on CNC mill and lathe position in a fast-paced environment that requires high energy, commitment to quality, and attention to detail. The machine shop supports inside work centers with precision tooling fixtures and handles small to large volume production and development parts. Skills Required: 3+ years CNC mill and setup experience 3+ years CNC lathe and setup experience 3-5 years of current programming experience in milling and lathe (Fusion 360 is a plus) Experience working with tight tolerances (+/- .001) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to inspect work for dimensional accuracy and maintain quality standards Assist shop manager with reviewing and improving manufacturing processes Proficiency with inspection tools (Depth gauge, Drop gauge, Micrometers, Calipers, etc.) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Reliable transportation and positive work ethic Physical ability to stand and operate machinery as needed About Us: TecHOUNDS is a Southern California staffing firm providing direct hire and contract opportunities.
