Registered Nurse RN Cardiac PCU

Overview Cardiac Progressive Care Unit RN – located in Sun City, Arizona. Full‑time day shift (7am–7:30pm), 3/12‑hour shifts per week with rotating weekends/holidays. Sign‑on bonus of $10,000 for 12‑month commitment. As a unit RN, you will provide nursing care to cardiac and general progressive patients, support interdisciplinary team functions, and contribute to efficient unit operations. Responsibilities Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Formulate and implement a patient‑specific plan of care, including discharge plans. Coordinate, delegate, and supervise care provided by the healthcare team. Evaluate patient and family response to care, revise plans as needed. Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record. Participate in evidence‑based practice, research activities, and shared leadership. Engage in education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and professional organizations. Supervise staff and workflow in some roles as required. Maintain communication with all levels of staff, physicians, families and external contacts. Minimum Qualifications Current, valid RN license in the state of practice (or temporary/interim/compact). BLS certification required. Minimum one year acute care hospital experience within the past 12 months as an RN. Fingerprint clearance card requirements as applicable to the specific facility. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Professional certification preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
