Account Executive

Account Executive Role The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company’s Commercial Pest Management Services and Products to new and existing commercial customers while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business. Account Executives call on a full spectrum of market segments including hospitality, food & beverage processing, healthcare, and retail. Responsibilities Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads and referrals, and cross‑selling. Visually inspect buildings for pests, pest harborage and pest entries. Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions as well as preventative maintenance for commercial customers. Craft territory development strategies that enable exceeding sales targets. Learn and maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil’s programs, protocols, pricing policies and service offerings. Build partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure delivery of outstanding service solutions. Complete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM. Essential Job Functions Physical demands are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made. Move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling). Move around a lot—sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, go up/down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps and poles; maintain balance on narrow or slippery surfaces. Deal with different pests and enter small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces and attics. Safely operate a motor vehicle and keep it and equipment clean. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as OSHA‑compliant respirators and work in confined spaces, narrow aisles or passageways as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license from current state of residence. Strong social, customer‑service and communication skills. Preferred two years of B2B sales experience with prospecting skills. Self‑motivated, hunter mentality with ability to work independently. Will be required to obtain any required industry licenses (provided and paid for by the company). Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s). Base Pay Range Hourly: $19.00 - $28.00. Starting pay falls within this range and may vary by geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance and route assignment.
