Product Liability Attorney (Practice Attorney - Off Track)An international AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an experienced Product Liability Attorney (Practice Attorney) to join its nationally recognized Products Liability & Complex Litigation practice. This is a non-partnership-track position designed for a senior-level attorney who thrives in a sophisticated litigation environment and values autonomy, collaboration, and high-level client service. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes matters for industry-leading clients across a broad range of cutting-edge sectors.Locations: WA (Seattle) preferred; CA (Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco) REMOTECandidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in state in which candidate resides and either Washington or California, in good standing15+ years of substantive experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigationExtensive experience defending manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors in product liability and toxic tort mattersDemonstrated ability to manage cases with a high degree of independenceStrong background in drafting briefs, correspondence, and written discovery responsesExperience overseeing document collection, review, and productionFamiliarity with causation analysis and failure analysisExperience with multidistrict litigation (MDL) and/or coordinated state proceedingsExcellent written and oral advocacy skillsStrong work ethic, sound judgment, and a collaborative, team-oriented approachLarge law firm experience strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDefend product manufacturers, suppliers, and resellers in complex product liability and toxic tort litigationServe as a key contributor on national and global litigation teams, including MDLs and coordinated proceedingsDraft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and client correspondenceManage day-to-day case responsibilities with minimal supervisionCoordinate document discovery processes, including collection, review, and productionAnalyze technical, scientific, and causation-related issues central to product liability claimsCollaborate closely with partners, associates, and clients to develop and execute litigation strategyWhy Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to join a premier litigation team representing innovative, market-leading companies across industries such as technology, consumer products, automotive, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and emerging technologies.
