Surgical Tech

Role: Surgical Technician Responsibilities: Prepare and assist in surgical procedures, handling instruments, sutures, and sponges while maintaining aseptic technique. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for scheduled surgeries. Maintain a clean, sterile OR environment, sterilize equipment, and restock supplies. Assist in patient transportation, verification, and positioning for surgery. Support as a second circulator, participate in department education, evaluate surgical products, and contribute to policy development. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited surgical technician program or equivalent training. Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists preferred. One to two years of surgical technician experience preferred. Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 5 pounds.
