Performance Responsibilities and Standards

This position focuses on in-home support services for clients in our community. They may be impacted by aging, have had recent medical changes requiring care, or may live with a disability. Our caregivers make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients we serve every time they work a shift. We even offer a training program to get you started on how to be the best caregiver you can be if you've never worked in the field before. Anyone and everyone can make a difference. We can help you get started.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Provide companionship through activities
• Provide transportation support (such as activities or appointments)
• Assist with the activities of daily living
• Provide meal plan/prep support
• Monitor client for change in condition
• Provide support with medication
• Support with housekeeping

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Both written and spoken English language proficiency required
• High school diploma / equivalent required
• A valid Washington state driver's license, a reliable vehicle, up-to-date auto insurance, and must be willing to transport clients
• Home care aide license (HCA) or ability to complete online and in person coursework
• First aid/CPR certified (within 120 days of employment, training can be provided)
