Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll play an integral role fostering communication growth and academic success, working alongside educators and families in a vibrant educational setting near Fort Mitchell, AL.

This position begins August 10, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027, offering a steady weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (Monday through Friday). You’ll serve a K-12 caseload, collaborating closely with school staff to provide assessment and treatment, facilitate IEP meetings, and support students at various developmental stages. Desired Qualifications

• Active Alabama SLP License required
• Hold or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
• Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered care

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy for K-12 students
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and treatment plans
• Document progress, attend meetings, and maintain compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support educational goals
• Participate in ongoing professional development as needed
