This role reports directly to senior finance leadership and plays a key role in overseeing the financial operations of multiple hotel properties and related entities.This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality accounting professional who wants visibility with executive leadership, team leadership responsibilities, and exposure to multi-property financial operations within a dynamic hotel portfolio.Why This Opportunity Stands Out• Leadership exposure – Work directly with senior finance leadership and support strategic financial initiatives across multiple properties• Multi-property portfolio exposure – Gain experience overseeing the financial performance of several hotel assets and related entities• Hands-on leadership role – Opportunity to mentor and supervise accounting staff while improving processes and reporting efficiency• High visibility position – Partner with hotel operational leaders and corporate leadership on financial performance and reporting• Stable and growing hospitality platform with an established portfolio and strong leadership team• Competitive benefits package, retirement plan with company match, travel perks, and hotel discountsKey Responsibilities• Support senior finance leadership in overseeing financial operations across multiple hotel properties and related entities• Ensure accurate accounting of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses in accordance with GAAP• Assist with the development and monitoring of internal control procedures to safeguard company assets including inventory, cash controls, and operational transactions• Oversee the preparation and submission of weekly and monthly financial reports, including operational performance reports• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable processes including vendor reconciliations and system utilization• Supervise and support accounting staff including hiring, training, and performance management in partnership with senior finance leadership• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes• Ensure timely filing of government reports, tax documentation, and regulatory requirements• Partner with hotel operational departments to provide guidance on financial procedures and reporting• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, efficiency, and cost controlsQualifications• 3+ years of hotel or hospitality accounting experience• Experience in roles such as Assistant Controller, Assistant Director of Finance, or Accounting Manager within hospitality• Strong understanding of hotel financial reporting and accounting operations• Experience supporting or supervising accounting staff• Ability to work in a collaborative environment while managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesLocationCharlotte, North CarolinaFull-time | 5 days per week in-officeCompensation & Benefits Highlights• Competitive base salary• 401(k) with company match• Medical, dental, and vision insurance• Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave• Life and disability insurance options• Fitness reimbursement program• Hotel room discounts and travel reimbursement• Education assistance program• Commuter benefits and employee discount programs
