Payroll Specialist

Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Raleigh , NC 27609 Temp to Hire Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume, multi-state environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, system expertise, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. Key Responsibilities: Process full-cycle payroll for a large employee base across multiple states Validate time data and ensure accurate payroll calculations Manage payroll taxes, garnishments, and statutory deductions Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Utilize payroll systems such as ADP GlobalView (required) and SAP (preferred) Support process improvements and maintain payroll controls Required Qualifications: 5 years of payroll experience (high-volume, multi-state preferred) Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, and compliance Hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView (required) Experience with SAP or similar systems (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in large or complex organizations Exposure to timekeeping systems and payroll data integration Experience working in union environments (a plus)bfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
