Job Description

Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center seeks a Medical Technologist or a Medical Lab Technician with strong experience in Microbiology to join our team on Day shift. Schedule: 5-8 hour shifts with rotating weekends. Start time will range between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. and end between 3 and 4 p.m. Will discuss further during the interview. To be considered, candidate must have:

• Strong knowledge of microbiological techniques including culture, organism identification, and susceptibility testing;
• Proficiency with automated and molecular diagnostic systems
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

Position is responsible for performing various laboratory tests/procedures as assigned.
