LVN/LPN OpportunityFind your passion and purpose as an LVN/LPN in the Waco Office. This full-time position covers Ellis and Hill County and operates Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. On-call availability is required. The estimated annual compensation for this per-visit basis position ranges from $65,000 to $79,000.Under the supervision of an RN, the LVN/LPN provides direct patient care, observing and documenting patient progress and nursing status changes. This role serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.Be the best LVN/LPN nurse you can be if you meet these qualifications:Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing programCurrently licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state of agency operationOne year of LVN/LPN work experienceAbility to provide nursing visits according to the treatment prescribed by the physician and maintain accurate and complete medical recordsMust possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical roleMust be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locationsAs a LVN/LPN, you will:Perform technical nursing functions and direct patient care consistent with the established plan of care and under the supervision of an RN.Promote and maintain optimal client care under the supervision of an RN.Maintain a safe patient environment.Identify and communicate significant abnormalities in patient data to case manager and other appropriate home health team members.Administer prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by law.
