Senior Biostatistician

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Biostatistician to support clinical development and post-marketing initiatives for MASH therapeutics. The role involves executing statistical analyses, developing analytical strategies, and collaborating across functional teams while building expertise under senior statistical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Execute statistical modeling and analyses coordinating with biostatisticians, programmers, and cross-functional teams
- Perform complex statistical analyses, review outputs, and prepare Statistical Analysis Plans
- Design and analyze clinical and real-world data from randomized trials and observational studies
- Establish effective collaborations with clinical research, medical affairs, and data management teams
- Contribute to statistical innovation and participate in external scientific conferences
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biostatistics with 2+ years pharma/biotech experience, or Master's with 5+ years
- Experience designing and analyzing clinical trials and healthcare datasets
- Advanced statistical methods and computing proficiency in R and SAS
- Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Compensation: $146,700 - $179,300 base per year
