Key Responsibilities of the B2B Collections Specialist

• Manage a portfolio of commercial, wholesale, and retail accounts, performing proactive outreach on past-due balances as the B2B Collections Specialist
• Review aging reports, analyze payment trends, and monitor credit terms to support collection goals and reduce outstanding receivables as the B2B Collections Specialist
• Research and resolve account discrepancies, including short pays, pricing variances, tax issues, credits, and purchase order mismatches, as the B2B Collections Specialist
• Communicate professionally with business customers regarding account status, reconciliations, payment commitments, and collection activities as the B2B Collections Specialist
• Partner with Sales, Credit, Billing, and Cash Application teams while maintaining detailed documentation of collection efforts as the B2B Collections Specialist

Qualifications for the B2B Collections Specialist

• 1+ year of B2B collections, commercial collections, or accounts receivable experience
• Understanding of purchase orders, NET terms, chargebacks, credits, reconciliations, and customer portals
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and business correspondence
