Human Resource Representative – Waterville, Maine Position Summary The HR Representative provides day‑to‑day support to employees and managers on a wide range of HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, training support and compliance. Responsibilities Recruiting – develop and place ads, schedule interviews, conduct background checks, coordinate trade training programs. Onboarding – schedule and plan orientation for new hires. Employee record keeping – maintain seniority, pay, address and benefits information. Benefits administration – assist with health, welfare, EAP, retirement and worker’s compensation plans. Attendance and absence management. Maintain internal bidding system for hourly employees. Headcount reporting and workforce analytics. Assist with affirmative‑action data gathering and reporting. Mass mailings to employees and retirees about benefits and company events. Provide negotiation support and back‑up for the HR Specialist. Perform general administrative HR tasks as assigned. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5 years of administrative and clerical experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to prioritize, multi‑task and maintain accuracy under interruptions. Capable of lifting/carrying up to 10lbs regularly and occasionally up to 25lbs. Additional Desirable Qualifications Excellent verbal, non‑verbal and written communication.
