Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking California-licensed Internal Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment in Hesperia, California. This is an outpatient clinic-based role with a focus on primary care service delivery in a community health environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• Outpatient Internal Medicine locum tenens assignment
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, full-time 35-40 hours per week
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day, with overtime hours at 9 hours per day
• Duration: Starting July 1, with flexibility depending on credentialing and setup
• No hospital privileges required; payor credentialing process only
• Clinic-only setting with no call responsibilities

Schedule Details

• Shift Times: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Lunch Break: 1 hour unpaid
• Provider minimum: Full-time (5 days/week)

Clinical Scope

• Outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of adult primary care patients
• Routine wellness exams, chronic disease management, and acute minor illnesses
• Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare providers
• Documentation and orders within clinic EMR system

Practice Environment
This assignment is based in a community outpatient clinic in Hesperia, California, offering a structured primary care environment. Providers will work within a patient-centered, clinic-only setting, managing adult patients across a broad spectrum of medical issues.

Requirements

• Active California medical license
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (BC required)
• DEA registration
• MD degree
• Current CV uploaded for review
• No hospital privileges necessary; focus on payor credentialing (pending takes a few weeks)
