They are seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to independently manage a caseload while receiving strong administrative and team support.

The attorney will be responsible for handling workers' compensation defense matters from inception through resolution. This role requires strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a full caseload of workers' compensation defense files from start to finish
• Attending hearings, depositions, and trials
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Reviewing medical records and developing case strategies
• Conducting discovery and ensuring adherence to litigation deadlines
• Communicating effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel

Qualifications include:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
• Prior experience in workers' compensation defense preferred
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
