Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Greeley, CO, requiring at least 2 years of critical care experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Mixed patient population including cardiac, minor trauma, respiratory, and mildly hemodynamically unstable patients
• All patient rooms are negative pressure capable and equipped with ceiling lifts
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Weekend availability required per unit needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to med/surg and sister units within the region to meet facility needs; travelers will be notified in advance when floating is required

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care (PCU or ICU) experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have approximately 2 years of PCU or ICU experience
• RTO is capped at 10 days for the duration of the assignment
• RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, and October 25–November 4
