Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week seasonal contract in Labor and Delivery. This full-time night shift position requires skilled clinicians to provide exceptional maternity care in a high-volume Level IV unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using intermittent and continuous fetal monitoring equipment.
- Assist with procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, TOLAC, and other obstetric interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Follow unit policies, guidelines, and dress code, maintaining compliance with all clinical standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and SVE competency.
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and C-section circulation.
- Experience working in high-volume Level IV units preferred.
- Demonstrated team player with positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
