Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00/hr.

Shift: 1st

Description: We are looking for a positive and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant to assist our team by serving as the primary coordinator for FMLA and disability paperwork. This role also offers opportunities to gain experience in a fast-paced surgical specialty clinic. Daily Tasks May Include:
• Serve as the primary coordinator for FMLA and disability paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• 2-3 days patient coordinator

• Gather required medical information, collaborate with providers, and complete employer or insurance forms.
• Track all FMLA/disability requests, monitor deadlines, and follow up with patients, employers, and carriers as needed.
• Communicate with patients regarding paperwork status, required documentation, and next steps.
• Reduce administrative burden on providers by managing documentation independently and proactively.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, document histories, and support providers during high volume clinic days and/or unplanned absences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to maintain high-quality patient care.

Skills/Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR current Medical Assistant certification
• Three (3) years of previous medical office experience, preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working within multiple software systems including EHR, PM, PACS and Microsoft Office
