Director of Accounting & Finance Los Angeles , CA Direct Hire Accounting $160K to $180K 08/04/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Accounting & Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $160,000 to $180,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting and finance operations while ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. Lead financial close activities, account reviews, reconciliations, and analysis of operating results and expense trends. Manage expense reimbursement processes and ensure compliance with established financial policies and procedures. Coordinate with auditors and prepare supporting documentation for financial reviews and compliance requirements. Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects to increase efficiency and strengthen financial operations. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. 5+ years of leadership or management experience within an accounting environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, payroll accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems. Qualifications: A professional certification or advanced degree. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial matters. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels. Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Self motivated leader who exercises sound judgment, maintains professionalism, and continuously seeks process improvements.
