Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule: Every other weekend required. On-call: Up to one shift every 2 weeks if low census.

Requirements:

Valid RN license — Compact license must be in hand at submission
Minimum of 1 year RN experience required; manager will consider 1–1.5 years (submit as a screen)
Clinical focus: L&D / LDRP care with postpartum experience
References: 2 required (covering 1 year within last 3 years; 6 months for CNAs)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide care to patients in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery.
Administer medications and manage pain relief methods.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical records.

Compliance / Notes:

Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
Non-billable orientation modules take approximately 16 hours on average prior to start.
Request time-off up-front during submission; requests greater than 7 days may delay approval.
