Overview Heavy Equipment Operator Ace Avant Contractors seeks dedicated, hard-working individuals to join our team. We provide a fun work atmosphere with a team-oriented, positive attitude and are an industry leader in commercial concrete. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Precision digging; able to hold grade on footing and size. Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant policies and procedures. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks. Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required. Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored. Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs. Participate in routine maintenance. Practice workplace safety. Qualifications Experience is preferred. Able to pass a drug test. Must be able to move materials and equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds. Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation required. Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling and twisting are a must to perform the basic functions of the job. Follow instructions as directed by foreman/superintendent. Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
